Terminal bodies
Terminal bodies are made of copper alloy - RIA does not use wrapped terminal bodies.
The surface is electro-nickel plated. Versions with soldering pins are initially electro-nickel-plated, and then hot-dip galvanized to achieve high resistance to corrosion and outstanding soldering properties.

All terminal bodies are captive in their moldings.

Terminal screws
Terminal screws sizes M2, M3 and M3.5 are made of different materials, varied upon needs. The bottom surfaces are rounded off, permitting leads to be connected without wire protectors.
All screws are hot-dip galvanized, 4 µm nickel plating over 8 µm copper to provide a better protection against corrosion.

The screws are usually secured in a fashion as to prevent them from working loose during shipment.
